The year 2020 forever changed the hotel and restaurant industry. In 2019, hotels were already struggling to deal with an onslaught of new hotel supply. Then the coronavirus pandemic hit, and an already unsettled industry had to face a staggering drop in demand paired with additional health and safety requirements.
As the pandemic changed the industry, Prospera Hospitality, an established hotel management company with decades of experience, knew we needed to shift our focus to better serve our clients. Our first step was to open a new division of our company, Prospera Health & Hospitality Services, or PHHS. PHHS combines Prospera’s experience managing top hotel brands with our internal connections to medical equipment sales. This new company now offers state-of-the-art UV cleaning products, antiviral bedding, PPE, and other products that are now part of a hotel’s normal operating procedures. Our expert sales people can also offer consultations with property owners to implement best-practice protocols to protect the health and safety of staff and guests.
In addition to opening a new division focused on health and safety guidelines for hotels, Prospera also pivoted to better serve hotel owners. By offering easy-in, easy-out contract terms, options for fee payments, and low-cost management service options, Prospera is positioned for hotel receivership, for new hotel owners, and for established brands to find continuity—and even profit—in today’s market.
Flexibility. Adaptability. Care. These are the new values driving Prospera Hospitality and Prospera Health & Hospitality Services. Together, we’re here to help hotels and restaurants weather this pandemic and set short- and long-term goals for profitability and success.
